I specialize in working with clients who are concerned about cognitive decline, helping them take proactive steps to protect and improve their brain health—often in deeply life-changing ways.
What if Alzheimer’s could be stopped—or even reversed?
For decades, the prevailing belief has been that nothing can halt the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. Medications only offered the hope of slowing decline, not reversing or improving.
However, groundbreaking clinical trials tell a different story.
Using the Bredesen ReCODE Protocol, 84% of participants had improved cognitive performance, 4% saw no change, and only 12% declined—results that far surpass those seen with traditional treatments alone.
This isn’t just hope—it’s a new direction in Alzheimer’s care.

Facing cognitive decline can be frightening and receiving an Alzheimer's diagnosis can feel overwhelming.
There’s so much information out there, it can be hard to know what’s credible, what actually works, or where to even begin. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Side-effects of the protocol are more energy and lower risk for heart-attack and stroke.

Your health and happiness are your most valuable assets.
This is not like anything else you have tried.
It is a science-packed mind and body approach.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is PreCODE and ReCODE?
PreCODE (Prevention of Cognitive Decline) and ReCODE (Reversal of Cognitive Decline) are programs developed by Dr. Dale Bredesen, designed to help prevent, slow and reverse cognitive decline—including Alzheimer’s disease—by addressing its root causes.
• PreCODE is for individuals who are proactive about their brain health and want to prevent memory loss before it starts. It’s ideal for those with a family history of dementia, head injuries or who want to optimize brain function as they age.
• ReCODE is for individuals already experiencing memory issues or cognitive impairment. It provides a personalized, comprehensive plan aimed at identifying and addressing the biological imbalances that contribute to cognitive decline.
Both protocols use a functional medicine approach—looking at factors like inflammation, blood sugar, nutrition, toxins, sleep, and stress—and create individualized plans to support brain health.
Not sure where you fall? That’s okay. I can help you determine which path makes the most sense based on your symptoms, history, and goals.
How does ReCODE and PreCODE work?
The program begins with blood work ordered by your doctor, which helps identify potential contributors to cognitive decline. Based on these results, a personalized plan is created.
The core pillars of the program are Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep, Stress Management, Brain Stimulation, Detoxification, and Supplements.
How is the ReCODE protocol different from taking a prescription for Alzheimer's?
Most prescription medications for Alzheimer’s are designed to temporarily ease symptoms like memory loss or confusion—but they don’t stop or reverse the underlying disease process. The ReCODE Protocol takes a broader and more proactive approach.
ReCODE is based on functional medicine and looks at the root causes of cognitive decline—things like inflammation, insulin resistance, nutrient deficiencies, toxin exposure, sleep issues, chronic stress, and more. It’s not a one-size-fits-all plan. Instead, it’s a personalized program tailored to your unique biology and lifestyle.
This protocol is often used alongside traditional medical care. If you’re already taking medication, the ReCODE approach can complement it by addressing the bigger picture—working to slow, stop, or even reverse cognitive decline at its source.
Does everyone regain their pre-Alzheimer's level of cognition?
Not everyone does. However, the earlier the protocol is started and the more closely it is followed, the greater the chances of improvement.
How can a health coach help with ReCODE?
A health coach supports you in implementing the ReCODE protocol consistently and effectively. This includes helping you understand your personalized plan, making sustainable changes to your diet and lifestyle, tracking progress, and providing accountability and motivation. A coach also helps you navigate challenges and stay aligned with your goals, making the protocol more manageable and impactful over time.
Can I follow the ReCODE protocol on my own, without a health coach?
Yes, it is possible to follow the ReCODE protocol on your own, especially if you’re highly self-motivated and comfortable interpreting complex health information. However, many people find that working with a health coach helps them stay on track, personalize their plan, and navigate the lifestyle changes more effectively. A coach can provide support, accountability, and practical strategies to make the protocol more manageable and sustainable.
I heard that ReCODE is expensive, is that true?
ReCODE can be more costly than traditional treatments, as it includes advanced lab testing, personalized protocols, and often supplements and coaching. However, many find the investment worthwhile given the potential to slow or even reverse cognitive decline. Costs vary, but there are ways to manage them—such as prioritizing key tests, starting with lifestyle changes, and working with a coach to focus on what’s most impactful for your goals and budget.
This sounds like a complex protocol. Can my spouse attend coaching sessions with me?
Yes, absolutely. Many people find it helpful to have a spouse, partner, or caregiver involved in coaching sessions. Having someone else there can provide emotional support, help remember important information and make it easier to implement changes at home. In fact, involving your spouse can improve consistency and long-term success with the protocol. Just let your coach know in advance so sessions can be structured accordingly.
I have a doctor, why do I need a health coach?
Doctors are essential for diagnosing and treating medical conditions, but they often don’t have the time to guide you through the day-to-day changes needed to improve your health. A health coach helps bridge that gap by supporting you in making sustainable changes to your nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, and more. They provide encouragement, accountability, and personalized strategies to help you stay on track and turn your health goals into lasting results. It’s about turning medical advice into meaningful action.
What does a health coach do?
A health coach works one-on-one with a client to help them with their health concerns. This is very individualized based on the client’s needs and background. It can include work in the areas of nutrition, stress and much more. How does one-on-one health coaching work? We start with a free discovery call which takes about 30 minutes. From there, you will be presented with a program that is tailored specifically for you and your needs. You can decide if you would like to work with me based on our discussion and the program that I present to you. Is one-on-one health coaching in-person or virtual? One-on-one health coaching can be in-person, virtual or a combination. I am located in College Station, TX for in-person meetings.
How does it all work?
The ReCODE program begins with blood work, usually ordered by your doctor, to identify key factors that may be contributing to cognitive decline. This testing helps reveal imbalances or issues like inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, or hormonal changes. Based on these results and your personal history, we create a customized plan tailored specifically to your needs. The core pillars of the program focus on: •Nutrition •Exercise •Sleep •Stress management •Brain stimulation •Detoxification •Targeted supplements Together, these areas work in harmony to support and optimize your brain health.
Do you only work with people who are experiencing cognitive concerns?
While I specialize in working with clients concerned about cognitive decline and brain health, I also have experience supporting people with type 2 diabetes, weight management, and general health and wellness goals.
My approach is personalized and holistic, so whether you’re focused on improving memory, managing blood sugar, losing weight, or just feeling better overall, I can help you create sustainable lifestyle changes that fit your unique needs.
